    Is there a filter for Virtualdub or avisynth to correct gemetric distortions in the image?

    not that I know of - but many for photoshop (which can be used in the free xnview or infraview) on image seq. frames ..

    or in combustion , AE, Shake, fusion , etc ...

    or you can do it in the free application called "WAX" on any type of video -- get it at www.debugmode.com

    There is one but I can`t remember where I saw it , I know that doesn`t help immediately but at least you know one exists .

    Found it - it is a Perspective filter , dont know if this will do what you want

    that is a Perspective Filter and not the same thing as geometric distortion - not even close .... but thanks for the link ..
