Can't get on Hotmail through favorites?

I can't get to my hotmail webpage through my favorites folder? When I put in Name PW I get this:

I am running XP home and can't find where to enable cookies?

Had this the other day. Had to shut down IE and clear the cache and clean the index.dat file to get it to work again. Been as good as gold since

OK, I tried what you posted. Then retried hotmail, everything worked. Went to use it again an hour or so later, same problem appeared again. I can use hotmail without any problems if I manually type in the url, but if I use the link saved in my favorites folder, it gets this problem. None of the other 30 or so links in the favorites folder are having any problems just the hotmail one. I deleted my saved link, manually typed in hotmail.com, and then resaved it to my favorites. Problem still exists? I'm getting very annoyed at this point. I hate when some little thing goes wrong all of a sudden and I can't figure out why?

Did you also clear the cache and index.dat file?

yea I have spysubtract a program that cleans that out.....
