hello.. newbie question probably.. can you hook up a scart cable from say a region free player w/scart output.. to a dvd recorder via a scart to s-video type cable.. and remove macrovision?.. i have seen the scart to s-video cables(monster makes them).. but i am really unsure if i could do this..i would like to "back up"or "fair use" dvd's using my sony rdr gx-300(1) and my rjtech 800divx player, also any "new" hacks on the sony?other than whats out here now, or use the red pro device?via an s-video adapter... not really too much out there for this recorder.. other than making it region free which i don't really need, just the macro is more of a concern to me really...thanx!
