You can import VOB files straight into TMPGEnc DVD Author - it has a fully functional 30 day free trial. IIRC you create a new project, then go to Add File, then change the "files of type" filter to all files. From here you can create menus if you like. This will output your IFO, BUP and VOB files in a VIDEO_TS folder for you.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. To create a DVD you need to create a certain file structure and certain type of files. An authoring software will do this for you. TDA as suggested by Jim is a popular and good choice. You can also use DVDLab. There are others also.

Also see "What is DVD" & "How to "section of this forum for more details.

To import vobs into tda they need to be authored,if you import vobs as files then it wont recognize the other vobs in the same vts,you can use ifoedit to make new ifo and bup files that tda will import.
