Hi,
First off, most of the movies that I am using this program for to back up are divided into multiple AVI files so that the AVI's were better quality. However, I think that this results in a lower bitrate on the final result after I convert with Nero. Does this mean that it would be better to use a single avi file for a movie? Im not sure what to do b/c if I use a single avi file then the quality for the source will be worse when I send it to Nero. I'm thinking the better source quality should balance itself out with the lower bitrate when converting.
Second, since I have two or three different avi files, I merge them together into one title in Nero Express. However, when I do this Nero wont let me make a main menu, like a title menu, just a chapter menu. If I dont merge them, it will allow me to have a title menu for the two different avi files. I figured this was because it will only do a main menu if there are multiple titles, which there arent when you merge the files. therefore I tested this theory by adding only the first file, making there only be one title. It allowed me to make a main menu. It is only when I merge the multiple avi's that I cant make a main menu. Is there an option somewhere that will fix this??
Thanks, I hope I explained well enough. If not I will try to elaborate more, just let me know.
