No, I've never tried that particular model of Logitech speaker. I've never been too impressed by Logitech's speaker designs. They are a terrific mouse maker, so-so speaker maker. But to each, his own.
If you can find them in Australia, my favorite inexpensive 3 piece speaker set is Altec's 221 , shown here:

and here is a link to them in Oz

They've updated the design, but the sound is still the 'best for the bread'. -
Can you adjust the bass on the Altec Lansing speakers.
I read a reveiw on one set and it said you couldnt manually adjust the bass level. -
I would also suggest getting the Altec Lansing speakers. My friend just bought an Altec 2.1 system, I don't know what model and I was blow away by the sound. Far superior to any other computer speakers I've heard before. His speakers did have bass contol.

Thanks for the advise.
Im actually after two sets of speakers, one for my PC and another for my Xbox.
I might get the X230's for my PC as im not overly fussed and they are smaller so they will save desk space.
I might keep an eye out for the Altec Lansing VS4121 which sound good and get those for my Xbox. they are a bit bigger and have a bigger sub.
Any other advice?
Thanks -
I don't own the Logitech but I looked at the X230s because I did read that they were quite decent in their price range.

The VS4121 are about 150 bucks.
The X230's are a bit smaller as well so will probably be more suited to the area i have -
I just looked at the pics of the VS4121 and they are the model my friend has. He got them for CAN$99.99, the X230's are CAN$49.99 over here.
If you shop around I'm sure you can get better prices.
