  1. Is there a free utility that can do this?

I would use VCDeasy but it has a max file size of 200mb

OR, is it possible to use VCDeasy and then (based on a 600mb file) merge the three 200mb bin files VCDeasy gives me? so that the whole film runs smoothly when played on my set top DVD and doesnt 'pause momentarily' at the start of each new 'chunk'?

Failing that is there a free utility out there?

Cheers mate, that is great help

One thing though, after I installed it I got this message:

    "WnASPI32,dll" not found
The ASPI layer (requires CDRDAO) may be missing or not be installed correctly

    CDRDAO support is disabled

I take it this is perfectly normal?, or have I ballsed something up?

Unless you want to burn with vcdeasy then dont worry about it,means you dont have aspi installed and some programs require it for burning.
