The RJ Tech RJ-1500DVXII recently got a firmware upgrade which recognizes Nero Digital files. I've actually got a Philips DVP642 and keeping my fingers crossed for a firmware upgrade. I've spoken to Philips customer support, and all they is they're working on a new firmware which will address this issue but will not give a date as to when it will be available. I'm not gonna wait too long. I may just get an RJ-Tech!

I've got the RJ-1500DVXII and the firmware update. It works great! I also have a CAVS DVD-103G which uses the same ESS Vibratto II chipset and it is virtually the same player. Unfortunately, I've checked with CAVS and they aren't planning any firmware updates.
