lately when I've tried to make a back up of a "retail" DVD using Nero ReCode with AnyDVD ReCode stalls during the analyzing step. I've got CloneDVD2, Slysoft's "partner" program, but like using ReCode because it seems to be faster with the "burn at once" option. Has nayone else experienced this problem, or, does anyone know if AnyDVD is still compatible with ReCode?
    Thanks.

(using the latest published version of Nero 7, and, v.6.1.5.5 of AnyDVD. Have experienced this problem with earlier versions of Nero 7, and, AnyDVD.)

yes, recode2 is compatible with anydvd. i doubt that recode2 is faster than clonedvd2 but i still prefer recode2 with deep analysis and ACE because though much slower, it produces a much better picture quality.

Then I'm going to have to "yell" at the folks at Ahead. Because with Anydvd running, recode stalls out during the analyzing process, and, if I "back out" of recode and restart it, trying to back up the same disc, and, the last couple of versions of AnyDVD running in the background, recode tells me it has an "internal error,' but give no further information.

I still may have to"yell" at tech support at Ahead/Nero, but note; in my original posting I did say I was using Nero 7, a version which supplied recode v2.5.4, which is the version I'm currently experiencing the problem with.
