k so i have a couple video files

First one is divided into 2 cd folder and each one has a bunch of files name dvd-movie-cd1.r01 and one dvd-movie-cd1.rar files in it. Is this what i need to do for those to burn on a dvd

Second one has a seperate folder with cd1 and cd2 .avi files. I can use divx2dvd to decode them for dvd, but it also has a bunch of dvd looking files with no size. VIDEO_TS, VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VTS_01_0, VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO etc. all of these are 0kb files. Is there something I can do to burn them to DVD faster than converting the .avi files?

thanks in advance, im a noob

    Innocent until proven guilty.

As wpsatisfide has not mentioned the name of the movie, nobody can argue its warez. Period.

If your choice whether you want to help or not.

  5. Well the Ones that say 0kb files,I would say they are not fully downloaded or there is a Problem with them.

The others, well they maybe VCD's so you extract the first file in the list then you will end up with a video file,Maybe AVI if it isnt a VCD or you may end up with MPG files.Need more info to help you.

  7. Are you saying that those DVD files (VIDEO_TS, VIDEO_TS.BUP, VIDEO_TS.IFO, VTS_01_0, VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO etc) are files that you've downloaded or are these created by the divxtodvd program that you're using?

I'd recommend converting these .avi divx files to DVD compliant .mpg files using TMPGEnc. Then I'd use TMPGEnc DVD Author to burn the DVD. Good luck, and remember to never reveal the source of your files. It's information that has no relevance on the technial aspect of your problem.
