  1. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good DVD drive (not burner) for my PC?.I do a lot of burning from one drive (DVD drive) to the (DVD burner drive) and fast copy burning.Looking for something that reads DVD's with less errors and read both + plus and - minus DVD's and if possible DVD-RAM.

  3. I don't know about the DVD-RAM aspect, but I've just bought an Asus E616P2 and so far it's outperforming the Lite-on 165H it replaced.

It's also a hell of a lot quieter too, if that's a consideration.

If you shop around, you'll probably be able to pick up the Asus at a good price, although I have to say the Lite-on drives I've had to date have been very good.

Lite-Ons are the fastest rippers out there. I own a HD166S. Plays any disc i throw at it. Its claim to play dvd ram too though ive never used one myself.
