Well, I Think that rip a DVD, is first of all, we use something like The SmartRipper, to copy The DVD content to our HD, and then we use the DVD2AVI, to let us create a D2V and a WAV file, and then we use the VFAPI, to let us create a meta AVI file, to let use be able to open our content with the VirtualDub, p.e., and while with The VirtualDub, let us add a Logo, p.e., and serve them through this VirtualDub, through a vdr file, to the Tempgenc plus, p.e., to let us create either a MPG file, or a M2V and a WAV files.
Now I ask again: Does anybody know if we can rip a DVD and re-author with its original menu? I mean, how can we with a MPG, or a M2V and a Wav file, re-author a dvd with its original menu?

Why do it the long way when you can take all of the extras out with dvdshrink and keep the menus. Smartripper sucks compared to DVD Decrypter and theres no reason to use VirtualDub, DVD2AVI.
There is an easier way of doing this. Try this guide and good luck.

There is no need to reauthor whole DVD if the only thing you want is to replace main movie with edited version. You can use DvdReMAke Pro to replace the movie. Here some more details: http://cdr-zone.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1889

Yes, I guess you are right. But I will try to use not the DVDReMAke, but some others softwares, first, because there was I time I just imported and exported a dvd with the DVDRemake, and It did not save something exctaly like the original dvd. If it did try to fix something, on the other hand the dvd could not run as it was supposed to run. And second, I think that the DVDRemake does not let us apply any logo like I explaned above, and if we would like to apply logos in the main content, we would have to replace some blocks one by one.
I just have found out that The VirtualDub can open VOB files. So, I will open my main content, apply my logos with it, and save it as a MPG or M2V+WAV files. And then, with a dvd author, I will try to convert this MPG or M2V+WAV files to a VOB file, while importing the Chapter's address created by the ChapterXtractor, and the subtitles create by the subrip.

AFAIK DVDRebuilder makes avisynth scripts to re-encode the video. So maybe it is possible to include the logo creation in the scripts. Well, it requires much learning and reading and searching, but I think should be possible to do.

And I have one question - but first I need to explain my problem... Source DVD have on begin worning(s), commercials,.. and after that it goes to main meny... So, I want to skip (remove) all commercials, warnings,... and when I insert my DVD, it goes directly to original main meny. It's simple... but witch program I need to use to do this? Can I use VobBlanker (DVD Shrink can't do this - or I don't know how to use it for my problem)?
Thanks for help in advance... -
There are many softs that can do what you loooking for, my above friend. CloneDVD, p.e., I guess.
But I also came here to make another question. Why, please, could anybody please tell me why a soft like the dvdshrink can replace a vts ( Video Title Set) with a still image, but it can't, and I can't find one that could replace a vts with a m2v file?
