spanglish,also vcr tapes to dvd

hey guys anyone able to back up spanglish i tryed dvd x copy express and dvd shrink with any dvd running in the back ground no go! also been trying to copy vcr tapes to dvd with dvc80 and pinnacle studio 9.i keep getting virtual memory is low tried changing to system managed size but still get low virtual memory.my virtual memory is set at initial size MB384 and maxiimum size MB768 now i need to change them but not shure what to. i have over 55% of free hard drive space.my system is.1.8GHz pentium 4 256MB RDRAM PC 800 MEMORY maxtor 80GB IDE 7200/40 hard drive any one know what i should change them to please help or is there some other program i should try to back up my vcr tapes to dvd thanks for your time and any help.
