    can someone please tell me why alot of movies i burn do nothing but jump when i play them in my dvd player. it has happened when i burned vcds and dvdrs. i cannot figure it out i have used a slower write speed and it still comes out the same way.

    Does it ever happen with commercially produced DVDs? One of my players (a cheap Chinese POS -- but I repeat myself) randomly jumps on some commercial DVDs. It skips the first 7 minutes of "Crouching Tiger".
