    I can finally post now and im happy about it

    Anyway, a while ago I did a clean Windows XP install.

    When i Right click on a video file like .AVI and press "Properties" and go to "Summary" to see the Video file Infomation like: Reso, FPS, Bitrate, Codec that been used and Audio info aswel.

    But After god knows what i did, im not able see anything anymore and even for some .AVI files the summary tab just disappeared but some have the summary tab but the info is gone.

    Go to Windows Explorer, and choose Tools>Folder Options, and then the File Types tab. Scroll down to the entry for AVI and click on it. You should see a Restore button, click on it and it should reset to the default type for AVIs.

    OK, try going back to the File Types tab and click New. Type in AVI (in caps), and click on the Advanced button. You should now see a drop down box called "Associated file type." Choose "Video clip", and hit OK. You may get a prompt to unassociate AVI from another file type.

    Copy this to notepad and save as file.reg but make sure you save as all files so the .txt is part of the extension.

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{87D62D9 4-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E}\InProcServer32]
    @=hex(2):25,00,53,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00 ,52,00,6f,00,6f,00,74,00,25,\
    00,5c,00,73,00,79,00,73,00,74,00,65,00,6d,00,33,00 ,32,00,5c,00,73,00,68,00,\
    6d,00,65,00,64,00,69,00,61,00,2e,00,64,00,6c,00,6c ,00,00,00
    "ThreadingModel"="Both"

    Then doubleclick on the reg file to enter into the registry.
