I know how to do Svcds thnx to this guide https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/166237.php

however I have not found anything for Pal Vcds.
The specs for the vcd are as follows
    1150 Kbps, 25.0 fps, 352*288 (4:3), MPG1 = MPEG 1 (VCD), Supported

My only problem is the 25.0 fps which my dvd player cannot read it can only do Ntsc.

By the way im sorry but why are there 2 different versions of Ntsc I see 23.976 then i also see 29.97, does it matter which one i use?

    Thank you guys

  2. Demultiplex (seperate the audio and video into seperate files). You can use TmpGenc, Mpeg tools to do this.

(Havn't tried this but it should work)

Use DVD patcher to change the frame rate of the video to 23.976fps.

Use BeSweet to change the length of the audio to match the video. It has a 25fps to 23.976fps preset for this. Its tricky to use but there is a step by step guide somewhere on this site, look around.

re-multiplex (Tmpgenc again). Test play on your PC. If all in sync (it should be) author and burn.

23.976fps is for FILM (normall played at 24fps in Cinemas). It is actually played at 29.976fps by your DVD player by repeating some fields. 29.976fps is the true NTSC framerate.

BTW, how did you end up with a PAL framerate mpeg, but with NTSC resolution
