  1. Oh, well, it my seem as a stupid question, but I scanned the forums and found nothing about it, so here I go.

I have tried to author a DVD and add subtitles before using srt2sup, a magnificent program, if I might add, yet the quality of the subtitles rendering was very bad for me, though others seemed to get better results.

Then I tried DVD Lab Pro, importing the ripped subtitles and was amazed by the instant display of the subtitles and various possibilities of their appearance. Subtitles are of great quality.

The world would be perfect if only one thing I could achieve; italics. Of course bold and underlined would be great too.

I edit the subtitles in Subtitles Workshop and import that .srt to DVD Lab Pro, but the words I have made to be italic do not appear italic. I also tried tags, < i >word < /i >, but that didn’t work either. I can edit a complete sentence via DVD Lab PRO to be italic, but not single words.

Where did I go wrong? It might be something very little or stupid, but I don’t mind the shame as long as I find a way to do this properly.

  3. Thank you, gentlemen, I will see to it… I tried Subtitle Creator before, but I didn’t have the required .NET so I dropped it all together. I guess I’ll try it out when I come around to it.
