hi, I have a radeon 9000 vivo; ati tv never worked on win me, it did on win xp until last time I reinstalled everything, now it says (as it does under me) that it fails to initialise card or something like that.
I use virtualdub to capture so I wouldn't care so much about ati prog, but, every time I start the system and open virtualdub capture window, it goes ntsc and there's no way to change it, while before I used to first open ati tv (which started pal) and then virtualdub.
now I open first windows movie maker -> capture -> video properties, change into pal, close and open virtualdub.
Is there a way to set "pal" as system default, maybe into some registry setting ?
thanks a lot to everybody.

This is what I also have to do before capturing with virtualdub or AVI_IO. I have to first start the ATI TV application to initialize it and then exit ATI TV and open the other capturing software. I have no other solution for it.

thanks a lot ronnylov, it's incredible how ati cards still have issues like this after several years of experience in manufacturing vivo and aiw ....
