I'm having problems playing XVID files on DVD with my DVP630 (which I believe is almost the same as the DVP642). I can play DIVX files burned onto DVD or CD, and XVID files burned onto CD, but when the same XVID files are burned onto DVD, the disc spins in the machine, fails to be read, and eventually ejects after a minute or so. Neither QPEL nor GMC are used on these files.
I've upgraded to the most recent firmware but this doesn't help. I'd be very grateful for any suggestions...

Hmmm, thought I'd done that before but I did it again and it seems to work, so thanks! The simple answers are the ones I like best...
