I'm in desperate need of some help here and would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
I am making a DVD compilation for our company and included in the menu is an 85 second advert. I can play the advert from DVD using WinDVD player, or I can rename the VOB file to MPEG and watch it using Windows Media Player.
The problem I am having is that when I load this into any DVD menu/creation software, like DVD Architect or Sony Vegas DVD, it will only play the 1st 15 seconds of the video. I know for certain that there is nothing wrong with DVD Architect or Sony Vegas, so presume there is an issue with the video "header" or "timestamps"?? I'm not familiar with how repairs to such videos can be carried out, so if anyone can help, I'd be grateful.
It seems that the software is picking up something within the header that will only allow it to play or convert the 1st whatever seconds. Strange.
