  1. Hi,

I got a Jetway N2GAP motherboard with an nvidia nForce2 integrated graphics processor, AMD Athlon XP 2600+ and 1 GB RAM. I have XP loaded on it running at 1024x768.

I use Windows Media Player Classic to watch some DVDs that I have copied to my hard disk (with DVD Decrypter). When I am watching a movie, every 10 seconds or so, the picture seizes, and then speeds up to catch up with the audio.

Why does this happen? And more importantly, how would I be able to fix it?

    Thanks in advance,

  2. Sounds like it might be some background task interrupting the HD reading or CPU activity. Try turning off any virus scanners or Adware detection tools you may have running.
