I have 2 bin/cue files that I ripped the mpegs out of. I used the join tool in ffmpegx to make it one mpeg and when I tried to encode it as a VIDEO_TS it gave me an error. Just for the hell of it I checked the info on the .mpeg that I have and it says it's an mpeg2. How on earth am I supposed to encode this so I can burn it to DVD and watch it?

I did another test for arguement's sake. I tried to encode the unjoined files separately and they both worked. It's giving me an error msg when I try to encode it after joining the files using the join tool with ffmpegx

Here is the error I'm getting...

    Input #0, mpeg, from '/Users/steyener/Desktop/Constantine/saosin.constantinetccd1/avseq01.mpg.joined.mpg':

if you are registered user of ffmpegx you can use the s/vcd>dvd button under the tools section without the hassle of re-encoding and joining etc

I'm not a registered user of that software, but it wouldn't matter anyway. The movie is in PAL format and I need to switch it to NTSC

Again, as a registered user of ffmpegx, you could do this
    ( PAl to NTSC).
