    I created video clip using Pinnacle Studio 7, converted it to VCD file and burned it to CD. But it only created mpeg file. So, a DVD player can not play my VCD, because some other files like DAT file are missing.
    What did I miss?

    burn the mpg as VCD http://www.vcdhelp.com/burnmpg.htm#vcd and you will get a vcd with a dat file on it.
