Hey guys,
Total retard newbie here. I'm trying to convert an mpeg file to avi with virtual dub, but am having a hell of a time. I'm using virtual dub 1.4.7. I've read the how to page and think i've done everything correctly
-opened mpeg file i want to change
-selected full processing mode under video
-selected full processing mode under audio
-configured video compression (divx mpeg 4 low motion, keyframe every 10 seconds, compression control at 100, data rate at 910)
-configured audio compression (Divx audio, 128kbps 44khz stero)
-then i select "save as avi"
I then get a warning saying that "i am trying to compress with a hacked compression driver and this may cause virtual dub to crash and act unexpectedly"
I select ok, and sure enough it starts and the virtual dub status screen pops up but indicates no progress is happening.
I'm really stumped, and would love any help i can get from you pros. I am running 850p3 with 256 ram
Thanks!!!
