Don't care much for celebrities but the only is Robin Robinson, local news anchor.
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

Lance Armstrong - company I worked for (while I was living in Austin) donated a lot of money to his cancer charity. He came up to work, signed autographs and took pictures. This was before he won his first Touf de France. I was racing bikes at that time and was well aware of who he was. I asked him to sign about 20 pictures, which he politely did.

Kirk Cobain (dead Nirvana singer) - met him outside of a club in Austin before they really took off - he was completely wasted. I was not impressed.

I won't list them all, but lots of heavy metal bands.

I have met a few Longhorn football players now in the pros.

No one really cool except Lance. When I pulled out a stack of magazines from my desk he just started laughing and said he would be glad to sign them all.

  14. Metal rocker and former misfit Glenn Danzig several times and several of his band members at various autograph signings.
    The new-Misfits at the airport.
Insane Clown Posse at an autograph signing.
Ice-T (briefly, just to say "what's up?") at a Body Count concert.
Tom McGowan (Kenny Daly from "Frasier"). Noticed him at Disneyland few years back, very nice guy.
Orange County California Irish band - "The Fenians"
    The Phoenix Suns cheerleaders
My wife hung out with Marilyn Manson before a Nine Inch Nails concert before anyone knew who the hell they were.
Anyone heard of N17 (November17)? Also a bunch of nice guys in a local metal band.
My father-in-law learned how to play the drums from the drummer for "Paul Revere and the Raiders", went to school with him. Of course, that was a very long time ago, long before they made it big. They would play dances and other local "gigs".

  15. I guess it all depends on how you define famous :P

I have met a TON of bands. My dad used to do security for some shows when I lived in Montreal so we used to go backstage a lot. AND, Montreal is known to be a very party atmosphere for bands. Here goes:

Slayer (NO ONE can drink like these guys)
    Pantera
    Machinehead
    Corrosion of Conformity
    Fear Factory
Zakk Wylde (with Black Label Society)
    Im sure there are more.

    As for random celebs:

    Val Kilmer
    Ben Affleck (he is a fuc*ing di*khead)
Gary Busey (man, this guy is wierd)
Robert DeNiro (the shyest man in the world)
Bruce Willis (when filming The Jackal)
Candice Cameron (at a hockey game)
    Mario Lemieux
A bunch of Montreal Canadians from different years

    Me thinks thats about it.

I met Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson in Atlanta, in an elevator at Peach Tree Center. I said hello, and they both just stared at me. They looked really wasted. I doubt they even knew what world they were in.

Hank Williams Jr. several different times backstage. But, I doubt he'd know me from Adams house cat. And why would he ? I'm not famous.

Spud McKensy. The Budweiser dog. I think I saw some dancing bears that evening too. I'm not really sure. That memory is still a bit hazy.

Jimmy Buffet at Muscle Shoals Sound recording studio. He seemed like a really nice guy.

I met Mr. HOCKEY, Gordie Howe in 1995. I got his autograph on my Maple Leaf program, still have it too.

I've met some other pro players, like Johnny Bower -- on several occasions -- and others who escape me right now.

Some football player guy. He was at my sisters wedding (good friend of my brother in law) I'm not really into football so I don't even remember the guys name. But I tried on his superbowl ring... it fit over 2 of my fingers quite easy.

I should point out I was like 14 at the time. Thats about it. Oh I met a pornstar once.

Hey I met him too! I met him in 1990 at an autograph signing. Unfortunately, my cubs tanked that year and he was traded.
    I've also met:

Geoff Tate (Lead singer of Queensryche)
Bill Clinton (While he was Governor of Arkansas)

I've met a few but probably my favorite was Chuck Yeager. He was at the grand opening of the Cabela's in Owatonna, MN but nobody seemed to know who he was so he was kinda just standing around watching all the goings on. I must have talked with him for over an hour without anyone so much as giving him a second look. I was still in school for commercial aviation at the time so it was thrilling to hear some of his stories in full pilot jargon

Chatted with Natalie Portman when a bunch of friends and I were trying to be extras in Beautiful Girls (and we were trying to meet Uma since she was the big name at the time). Nobody really seemed to know who she was and I hadn't a clue either since I hadn't seen The Professional yet. She was kinda shy but interested in how used to the cold we were wearing only "fall jackets" in weather near 0°F. Uh, we're cold-blooded here ma'am

Another great experience was having a master class with Itzhak Perlman. He was in town for a concert and taught master classes at the music school I was attending near orchestra hall.

Met Alyson Hannigan at a party, and she is far better looking in person if you can believe that. I threw a donut at Kevin Smith at Sundance once. I don't know why, it just seemed like a random thing to do. He turned to me with an off comment about how I could have warned him the uneaten donut was coming his way so he could have caught it for a snack or something.

Most of mine are Professional Athletes and mainly football players.

    Lawrence Taylor
    Joe Morris
    Jack Lambert
    Chuck Noll
    Tom Landry
    Joe Gibbs
    Eddie George
    Emmitt Smith
    John Elway
    Dan Marino
    Charles Woodson
    Archie Griffin

oh man, it's a list. I go to the American Football Coaches Association Clinic (every year I can), virtually every College coach in the country is there and quite a few Pro coaches. I meet the players either by knowing them before they went Pro or from camps and clinics. The coaches though, it's really cool, for me anyway since I'm just a lowly HS coach, but they will just come and sit down and everyone will just start shooting the shit with everyone else, even including us poor HS coaches.
Also meet quite a few around Ohio State in the summer time, when they come in to work out during the summer.

Basketball players - Shaq at Cavs game
    LeBron - (while in HS)
Oscar Robinson - a friend of my HS basketball coach who played with him in Cincinnati
Vince Carter - we were staying at the same hotel on Daytona Beach.
Ron Harper - Miami of Ohio, Homecoming football game.

Baseball players - Ken Griffey Junior - he was in the recovery room from knee surgery with one of my football players from shoulder surgery. Several other Cincinnati Reds players and other major league players at camps and such.

didn't really meet Tiger Woods but spoke to him. He was in the rough at Muirfield Tournament and as he was looking at his ball, he was maybe 170 yards out, I said "I don't think you can get it there" he didn't look back at me, but laughed and said "OH..I can get it there."
Jack Nicholas - at same golf tournament, very nice guy.

Dale Earnhart Jr. & Sr. (on different occasions) - autograph signings
    Terry Labonte - car dealership
Bill Elliott - he was driving home to Michigan and we were getting gas at the same gas station.

    Actors/Actresses/Models

Yolanda Eggert - Playboy September 85 (I think) - car show

also another Playmate, who was a playmate of the year, I leave her name out because I actually had this girl as a student in class and I'm not real sure about the ethical situation of seeing a student in playboy...but in her layout, you can see her HS soccer uniform laying in the background. But may I say this much...you could tell she was going to be something like that when she was 15-16 years old. She was absolutely beautiful and had the clearest skin I've ever seen, and she was very nice and a good math student

I've met some other actors and actresses but no one famous enough to be obviously recognized.

There are a few others. Oddly no one in politics other than Nebraska's Ex-Coach Tom Osborne and I met him at the coach's clinic.
