  1. Hi guys,

    I just received an mp3 file from an extracted video but the sound goes up and down from time to time, is there a way to normalize this? sorry if i missed any information.

    I thisnk the video was captured from the tv.

    most mp3 encoders normalize mp3's (Cdex free, I'm guessing now) plus probably all audio editors mp3 compatible. Tools <<<--- audio encoders/editors

    I use the audio editor Audacity for normalizing MP3s. Add LAME to encode to MP3. Both of them are freeware. Audacity also has noise filtering and other useful filters.

  4. Will sundforge work as well? i did use soundforge-->process--->Normalize--> -6db (very loud), is that ok?
