    Huh ?

Most (all ?) players (not recorders) have outputs only. Explain slowly exactly what you are trying to do.
    Read my blog here.

Why are you trying to mate two DVD players

Pl explain properly what you have, what have you tried and what you want to finally achieve.
When I was born I was so shocked that I could'nt speak for 18 months.

  4. As I understand he has speakers connected to one DVD player. He want to connect another DVD player to the first one in order to use the speakers. I think it will not work. Simply connect the speakers to the second (if you want it to use 5.1 sound and the other player doesn't support it well, no way I think, but I can be wrong also )

  5. Just how are only speakers connected to a dvd player?
If you are running through a receiver there are usually three different connections, Optical, RCA coax, and RCA six speaker ( back of the player has six rca jack outputs for 5.1 receiver has six inputs).
If you have only optical invest in an optical switch. They run about $30.
