Region crack Code needed for Samsung DVD-HD948

It's a zone 3 model from Thailand. DVD-HD948. Samsung in Thailand was supposed to have reprogrammed it before they shipped it but didn't. Now I'm stuck in Canada with a zone 3 player and lots of zone 1 and 2 discs.

DVD-HD948 is a new model. I've tried everything the the crack section, but this unit is not listed yet. Can anyone help with the crack?

I got it. From a post to a similar Samsung HD model. For anyone who needs it, this crack works for Samsung DVD-HD948 region 3:

Turn on - "no disc" appears on the TV screen.
Press 'repeat' button on remote
for Zone 3, press code 56732
On the TV screen read 3 (for region 3)
Press 9 for multi-region playback
Open disc tray for a few seconds
Turn the machine off.


YES, YES, YES, I can't begin to tell you how happy I am tonight to get this changed after the major hassle I had from Samsung in Thailand, who promised me the machine would be zone free and then shipped me a region 3 machine that wouldn't play many of my zone 1 and 2 discs. This site is absolutely excellent. I'm glad I kept coming back and trying. Thanks to all you good folks who post this stuff.
