Easy DV to CD/dvd software

i need to buy a program that my Father can use with his miniDV camcorder. He is connecting it via Firewire and will probally be making VCDs or DVDs. Doesnt need anyfeatures except cuting video out. Basic to basic software.
Note: He is not computer friendly...lol...just knows how to check mail via Yahoo IM, and IM once in a while. and watch DVDs via PowerDVD that is about it.

i use Premier and studio 9, but i just need basic stuff for him.. i was thinking about studio for him, but i dont want him to be too overwhelmed with the features.

Anykind of suggestions would be helpful.

ok thanks.....i am willing to spend the $70, but just want to know if this program or anyother program in this price range and this easy, makes you have menus....in studio it is my choice if i want menus, is that the same for this..
