I have an Epson R300 which has a special DVD tray that let's you print directly onto printable DVD's. When using the software that comes with it you flip down the DVD guide, insert the DVD into the tray, and then load the tray into the guide.
I want to use a different program to print my DVD's. I use Movie Collector to keep track of all my DVD's and it has various templates for printing out DVD Case Covers, etc.
It doesn't have a template for printing DVD's but since you can make your own templates I asked around and found someone willing to make a DVD template for me. The template includes a thumbnail of the cover pic and a list of actors and of course the title of the movie etc. It looks good in the preview in Movie Collector.
The problem is when I go to print a message pops up saying "The DVD guide is open, close the DVD guide and push the reset button".
I looked in the printer settings that come up when I use Epson Print CD and there is a setting that let's you choose tray 1 or tray 2. It is permenently set to tray 2 and is greyed out. There is no such setting when you use printer settings with Movie Collector.
Do I have to get Movie Collector to add this ability or is there some trick?
