So while I was at Office Depot this afternoon, I was playing around with a bluetooth enabled printer, and the sales guy was explaining to me that alot of printers with usb/pict bridge ports on them can be made BLUETOOTH capable by plugging in a BlueTooth adapter, and bingo - its bluetooth enabled!
So I was searching around about my Epson R300, and sure enough - Epson actually sold such a device for $99 when the R300 was a current model printer! I've tried 2 bluetooth adapters so far, one of them is a Bluetooth v1.1 and the other is a Bluetooth v2.0 adapter (both generic cheapies), and neither work. When I plug them into my printer, the LCD screen on the printer shows an error message saying "The connected device cannot be used". Obviously there is a trick or something to making this work, Epson did sell a bluetooth dongle for the R300 ---- Has ANYONE has success doing this?
PLEASE ADVISE.

If you can read this, you do not need glasses -
This one works, http://us.kensington.com/html/14409.html I bought mine at BestBuy last year and I tried it on my Epson R300. I send my picture from my Nokia Mobile phone and it is fast. Same as usb 2.0

earlybird999 - Welcome to the forums, but if you take a look at the magnifying glass symbol for jj.lindeque, you will see that this was his only post. What does that mean? Probably nothing good for you. He may never have logged in again after making that post. It's unlikely, but it could even mean for that reasons that I can't imagine, this post might be a complete fraud and he just said that to make people waste their money buying an adapter that won't work. It's not likely that's what happened, but there are people on the internet who do get their jollies out of lying to other people.
I'd suggest trying to send a PM to him and hope he responds. You might also try an internet search on some place like Google or Yahoo. I've messed with Bluetooth some, but not for printers, and I can tell you that it can be tricky to get it working sometimes. If you are running Vista, that might make it even harder to get it working.
