    No. It only rips it.

    DVDSHRINK will rip and transcode to fit a single layer disc.

    I've found that I need to use dvd decrypter in cases where dvdshrink fails. Then I use dvdshrink to make it fit on a single layer dvd.
    New version of dvd decrypter is available now. I got mine on www.mrbass.org
