  1. Hi.I cant make svcd's play properly on my sony dvp s570d dvd player.i'm getting the svcd movies from my friend's ftp,so it's not me whois making them.Ok get to the point nowI'm using Memorex cd-rw's 700mb, it plays but some places choppes and stopes for 3seconds.I tryed Cursor's but no luck.Please can anyone tell me what is the problem or what kinde of cd-rw's should i use. Thank you

  2. Do the SVCDs play well on a software DVD Player like PowerDVD or WinDVD? If no (still choppy), the MPEG stream is badly encoded

    Plus when using MPEG2 VBR encoding, bitrate may not exceed 2600 kbit/s. If it does, the film gets choppy during the affected scenes. You can check the bitrate with tools like "Bitrate Viewer" (www.tecoltd.com)
