    The DVD compatibility section on this web site states that this DVD player is DivX compatible but most other forums I've read either makes no mention of this or says it's not compatible. I need to know for sure before I purchase one, so can anyone tell me with certainty that it is or is not DivX compatible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sony, Crutchfield, and Amazon do not list this as a Divx capable player....so I would say it isn't.
