Softwear Recomendation

I have Nero Burning Rom, but i need a softwear that makes video files into DVDs making chapters and stuff can someone tell me a good softwear

TMPGEnc DVD Author to author DVD for chapters, etc., and for an encoder TMPGEnc encoder. There are trial versions of each so you can try them out. There are other similar programs, but these two are easy to learn and versatile.

DVDLab Pro is another good one. Check out the tools section of this forum for more details authoring s/w.

I like polar fleece for soft-wear, but for DVD aurthoring software I also use DVD-Lab, although it may look a bit intimidating for a newbie. Otherwise, you can learn using Ulead DVD Movie Factory but it's not nearly as flexible but easier to follow.

What about just making DVD's whithout making chapters. i have WinAVI but I Doesnt work. whats a good softwear for this

Any authoring tool. Look under "DVD Author" in the "Tools" section...

If by WinAVI you mean WinAVI Video Converter from ZJ Media then it is basically an encoding tool NOT an full fleged authoring tool. Use WinAVI to make a DVD compliant MPEG2 file and then use an authoring tool like TMPGEnc / DVDLab / DVD Author GUI to burn your DVD. These tools will give you more flexibility in the authoring process.

He means TMPGEnc DVD Author. TMPGEnc is an encoder from the same software producers.
