When I watch one of my DVD's on my progressive scan DVD play it filles the entire screen - I have a HD 16:9 plasma TV.
My question is what resolution do I need to convert my DVD's to to get the same effect? I am using Fair Use and the last screen shows tons of resolution sizes. No matter what I select the picture is slightly off - some black on the top and bottom.
I have tried playing around with the "TV Mode" but this didn't help.
FYI - I am using Windows Media Center 2005 to play back the converted Divx movies on my Plasma - the output from MCE is set to 720P
Thanks for your help.
