    Can someone recommend a PCMCIA TV Tuner card? I have a laptop on which I want to view TV and/or pipe cable to and am looking for suggestions.

    I don't know of any PCMCIA TV tuner card, but lot's of USB/USB2 devices exist. If your laptop isn't USB equipped - too old ? does it have enough CPU power to playback video? - you could buy a PCMCIA -> USB2 adaptor and connect the TV tuner card there.

    I would highly recommend the Hauppauge WinTV USB devices. Not very expensive and high quality tuner and MPEG conversion.
    The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
