Hi
I am really impressed with Ver 2 it makes creating DVD's sooooo easy. So far I have not had any problems with the finished DVDs that I have created EXCEPT for the menu.
When you go to the SVCD2DVD online Help and the DESIGN A MENU there is no help only "Enter topic text here." displayed. I have figured out most of how to create the menu but I am having a bit of trouble with the selection text (button text).
I am creating a DVD with 3 episodes.
Each episode is a seperate VTS with the relevant button text.
The 3 button texts appear on the menu display and I place them accordingly.
If I do a Preview everything works great on my PC.
WHen the finished DVD is put into my DVD player the button text rather than highlighting the text that exists on the screen it creates the same text but it appears below the original button text (sorry if it's a bit confusing!)
FOr example
Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3
Episode 1
rather than
Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3
I have tried PAL and NTSC menu TV standard but nothing sorts it. Any ideas why this happens?
Will there be a inline help section for creating menus in the future?
Thanks again the program is brilliant.

Thanks for the quick reply CB.
It is a Limit DVD9900SE that I purchased from Richer Sounds 2 years ago. It has progressive scan and auto chooses between PAL and NTSC.
I created menu systems with the old version of SVCD2DVD (ver 1.5) without this problem using the same DVD player (Limit DVD9900SE). Bit of a quirky one that I would like to clear up coz i think it would make my menu much more professional. In the meantime I have put all my selections horizontally along the bottom of the background menu screen so the extra words appear underneath the selected item. Not ideal and it limits the size of the selection titles.
Thanks again -
Ok. Can you do the following? Produce a VIDEO_TS folder by running v1.5 & v2 with menus illustrating the issue. Use the dummy mpgs in the SVCD2DVD folder to keep the size down. Then can you email them to me for investigation?

If you can send me a postal address for you then I will send you a dvd that I have created and you could give that a try. Will that help?
