I have a new problem with tmpenc that I have never had before, I am starting out with a divx 4.11 file, I convert to an avi using vdub and huffyuv codec, I do this because tmpenc will not accept the divx file, then I encode to vcd using tmpenc, the problem is the finished mped loses the sound about 4-5 minutes into the movie, then it returns at some point but starts where it leaves off leaving me with an audio that is WAAAAAY out of sync, the avi that I am encoding plays fine. Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it?

BTW, I am using tmpenc ver2.02, I am trying the older version to see if I still have the problem, I have done dvd rips using ver 2.02 with no problems at all.

A little further info, it happens at almost exacty 4:05 into each clip, I have tried 3 different avi files, all converted to avi's from divx, 1 with picvideo compression, the other 2 with huffyuv, all do the same thing.

One more bit of info, it also happens with ver 1.2, very strange! and again at 4:05 into the movie.

Found a solution for anyone with a simular problem, by stripping the audio seperately using vdub to a wave file then using that as my encode source, all works fine....*S*
