I have an e-mail account that I used mostly for incoming e-mail. A few months ago, I realize I can't send from the address in Outlook. So I tried to fix the problem by going to the Google Gmail account and clicking the Help. But after I do that, I can't send or recieve messages. It does me no good to have it if it won't works with Outlook. I tried thier automatic configuration program, and I have configured manually using the information there. But I get an error says that the POP3 server cannot log me on, check the username and password and settings. But they're all there. And it also says that there was an error getting the SMTP server.
Does anybody knowing what's going on?

I had a similar thing happen to my cable broadband account. I had to check the "server requires me to login" for the outbound connection.
I had to put in a special port number, username and password. They changed all of it without notice.
Maybe you just need to do the authentication part at least.

I don't have firewall anymore. It was annoying and was blocking the WWL-TV website so I removed it.
I have checked "server requires me to logon" but it does not work. -

I run a Spy Sweeper continually but I don't have much of a spyware problem anymore. I don't know why that is.
When I get my new computer it will have Windows XP come with the Windows Firewall is much less annoying.
And by the way here is the screen of the testing of the Email System. A piture is worth 1000 words:

Your signature is causing the problem. MS Outlook and most boards consider your signature to be a virus
