    I'm new to encoding, I have a problem. I use TMPGEnc to convert the avi to mpeg. When I watch the avi on my Sony Vaio computer, it plays fine, no freezing. But when I burn it using Nero Ultra 6 and play it on my standalone DVD player the picture freezes alot and I can't watch it. I'm using a TDK CDRW Model UE-5201B. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Faulty media is the culprit,try a different brand.

    I've used sony, maxell and memorex. Whats a good brand?
