Why for some *.avi files in my Philips 642, I can't fast forward on them? Why does it only happen for certain files and not others?
Thanks in advance!![]()

I have had this Problem. I just press stop then Play ,Most times on the first shot it will make it able to FF, somtimes I have to do it 2 or 3 times,Why it happens who knows.

It is related to disc quality (I got this directly from Philips phone support).
Try burning a short (~1MB) file last on the disc, like a small MP3 or something, so it's burned *after* the main movie and right before the leadout groove (if your burning software lets you do this). Doing that cured all my FFW/REW issues.
