    Okay i have mpeg2 files and i try to import those files into prmiere pro and i get the error that says unsupported audio bit rate is there a plug in i need or will I have to recapture all my d*a*n tapes

    What audio bitrate did you use ?

    You could try demuxing the audio, changing the bitrate, then loading it into Premiere.

    If you find you need to recapture, look at a lossless avi codec such as huffyuv or MSU. Mpeg2 is not a good editing format.

    It will be a setting in your capture software. How did you create the Mpeg2 files ?
