I am trying to take some things outta start up on a computer running windows 2000 pro. Where is the msconfig or where do i have to go to take things outta start up

You can get a copy of msconfig for Win 2000 on this site:
http://www.kulsar.co.uk/downloads.php
msconfig is in the folder "Windows Utilities"

Plus, when you use MSCONFIG in Win2000 it will display some error messages that it cannot find autoexec.bat, etc. These are normal as Win2000 does not use these files (they are legacy config files from previous versions of Windows). Just click OK on each that comes up, and eventually the main program will open.
