  1. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but I'll ask. I've been using Drag to Disc (from Roxio's Easy Media Creator 7) to burn mpeg-2 movies to play in my Philips 642. After trial and error, I got a filed burned so it plays just the way I like it in the 642.

For some reason, I'm having trouble replicating what I did. Is there any wayI could take the disc that works the way I want it and examine it to see exactly what settings I used to burn it? I..e., what file structure, UDF, Joliet, etc was used. This would help me replicate it without having to make more coasters during another trial and error series.

    Thanks.

But to burn MPG's ,Xvid,Divx just burn as a DATA disc and make sure to close the Disc.

Right on track. I'll repeat what has already been said. Burn as data, make sure the close disk option is checked. The DVP-642 can handle any MPEG (Raw) burned to disk using this method.
