Hey guys,
I'm currently building a new computer for my folks and they would like to capture the old family movies and burn them on DVD. Since my knowledge is limited about capture hardware, I'd like to ask you a few questions.
For approx. the same price, I can buy an AIW 600X Pro (build by Ati) OR buy a standard Sapphire X600 Pro videocard and a Sapphire Theatrix (based on the Theatre 550 Pro chip, by ATI). From what I have read, the Theatre 550 Chip is very promising and seems definately a better option. But according to you, is a capture done with the new Ati theatre Chip will be equal or better in quality than a capture done with a AIW? Is it a better choice to buy 2 seperate cards instead of a "all-in-one" card?
What do you think?
Thanks!
JC
