    I remember when me and buddie used to sit around and talk about can't wait for cd burners to come down to a lower price so we could get one... bought my first 2X cd burner for 200.00 & got a 50.00 rebate and i still have it sitting on a shelf

    funny you brought this up -- i was throwing away some old papers and found a receipt for a plextor scsi cd burner for $480 from a few years ago ...
