I don't know if this is the right forum for this topic,

I made a couple of DVDs using TDA which has always worked for me until now.

    DISC 1:
Had 2 volumes exceeding DVD 5 format (4.7GB)... so I used DVD Shrink so that i can fit both onto 1 disk. This disc works fine in PC Power DVD however when I load it in my set top dvd player, it only shows me the main menu (2 tracks)... If I select either track or play all, just freezes.

    DISC 2:
Straightforward. Used TDA to create and burn the disc. Again, plays fine in PC, not so on set top players. This one doesn't even load the main menu.

For reference: I have a Pioneer and Toshiba DVD players and have tried both.

Am I missing something? Did I use wrong software? Did I chose wrong methods?

    HELP

It could be any number of things, aside from just a bad burn, I've had issues with brands/type of media and also with discs that I've labeled. It's hard to say whats the cause of your particular issue.

    Here's what I found:

The culprit was the TMPGEnc DVD Author's writing engine which I have never had problem with earlier.

I took the same DVD FILES on HD and used Nero to burn the disc, voila! no problem at all. For some reasons I am getting an erro when I try to invoke the TDA's burner. DVDWriter.EXE ordinal not found or something in 'px.dll'
