Is it better to output my final dvd-complient mpg from premier as a muxed(mpg) or demuxed (.m2v & .ac3) for authoring in Encore DVD. Both use the same mainconcept encoder (as far as I can tell) but I am wondering whether I should let Encore mux the streams into vob's during author or is it better for it to have the mpg to make into a vob during authoring?
I'm using premier pro 1.5 to edit dv avi/motion pics etc. and outputing that to encore dvd 1.51 for authoring. My guess is that quality wise, there is no difference, but maybe speed wise there is?
btw: when I say mux I am talking about what Premier calls 'multiplex'. As far as I know they both meen the same thing.
