  1. Hi,

I was finally able to convert a few High-def TV shows to DVD using DivXtoDVD, and then shrunk them using DVDShrink-- probably not as good quality as using TMPEGenc, but good enough I suppose.

Anyways, DivXtoDVD sets its own chapter points when making the VIDEO_TS folder.

I'd like to edit these chapter points and set them between various episodes on the DVD.

I look at IfoEdit, which seemed like it might do the trick... but the Guide for that tools only explains how to add chapter points for demuxed mpeg files-- my files are already in VOBs.

I saw where someone else had suggested just using DVD-lab for this task, as it makes it easier. Using a trial copy, I was able to import the VOBs, set the chapter points, but when I compile I get a "MSG: 2963" error which seems to indicate the VOBs are not in a standard framerate. I know this isn't true, as I was able to burn the VOBs to DVD and was able to read them in with no problem.

Does anyone know how to use IFOedit to edit an existing VIDEO_TS folder's chapter points? Or is there some other tool I can use?

    Thanks!

How's about Demuxing the VOBs using VOBEdit, then re-authoring with IFOEdit using that guide you found ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. Thanks...

It was a little time-consuming, but it did the job!
